7/29/2007 in Heiress' new project to be a modern musical Natalia Galbetti Whether jail changed Paris Hilton or not is yet to be determined, but she sure is busier these days. Barely six weeks after exiting Lynwood for her 23 days of incarceration, stemming from a DUI and driving on a suspended license charges, the heiress is singing and dancing and not just at the L.A. night clubs. Hilton announced at the Feed the Models, Save the World fundraiser that she will be acting in a musical. "I've been rehearsing every day -- seven hours a day," said Hilton. "We're just in the studio. We're doing dance and singing. We go shoot next month in Toronto." *Repo! The Genetic Opera* is set in the year 2056. As a deadly virus that threatens the survival of human race emerges, an expensive organ transplant might be the answer to save all. Paul Sorvino will play the transplant expert and the movie's bad guy while Hilton will play his daughter. Hilton described the project as "very cool and unique," while the director Darren Lynn Bousman, mostly known for being the mind behind "Saw," gave more details to Variety on Monday. "This movie has become my life," said Bousman. "I have auditioned at least 30 actresses for this role -- Paris came in and owned it. She is this role." Hilton has acted and sang before, yet this will be her first time uniting both talents. On top of *Repo!* The heiress is keeping herself busy working on her second album with the producer of hits from Christina Aguilera and 50 Cent. "I'm already working on my new record," she said. "I've been in meetings with Scott \[Storch\], and we've been working."While there's no expected release date for Paris Hilton's album, *Repo! The Genetic Opera* is scheduled for a 2008 release.
