Singer Amy Winehouse took a break from rehab Monday to visit the American Embassy and to grab a visa.

Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse was caught outside of rehab Monday. But, no worries, Winehouse was only out temporarily to visit the American Embassy to apply for a visa, *People* reported.  
  
BBC News reported that the 24-year-old Grammy nominee was not alone, her father Mitch and a nurse went along with her. And, speaking of Grammys, Winehouse was originally scheduled to perform at the ceremony.  
  
According to *Gossip Girls*, Winehouse was admitted to the Capio Nightingale Clinic after a home video surfaced of the singer on a drug binge, which included cocaine.  
  
Whether or not Winehouse will make the trip to Los Angeles to perform at the Grammys Sunday is still uncertain, reported the BBC. Her rep has stated "no decision."
