2/14/2008 in Will Mark Burnett"s new reality show, The Shark Tank, have the same bite as his previous line of hits? Roxanna Bain Creator/Producer Mark Burnett already has a lot of big fish in the reality TV sea; *Survivor*, *Celebrity Apprentice*, *Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader*, *Amnesia*, *My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad*. How does he find the time to throw another one out there? Evidently he does have, not only the time, but the energy and resources as well. *RealityTVMagazine* is reporting that Burnett is working on a new show that will hook up new inventors with "Sharks," entrepreneurs who will take the bait and, hopefully, invest in their dreams. "It's about seeing people squirm, either in their unpreparedness or their lies," Burnett said in a recent interview, adding that the show should look a bit like the early versions of *American Idol*. "People come in with an idea they think is brilliant, and it's awful," Burnett said. "But then you get the truly inspired ideas, and the Sharks have a chance to fight it out." The show is based on *The Dragon's Den*, a Japanese reality TV show, and Burnett has teamed up with Sony Pictures Television for the American version. No date has been released for when Sharks can be seen swimming in *The Shark Tank* in your very own home.
