No one knows for sure right now. However, a number of outlets, including *TMZ*, have reported that it was a false alarm. Apparently, Saturday night, someone called 911 to report a suicide attempt at Locklear's home. It was assumed that the attempted suicide call was made in regards to the actress. The call was later determined to have been placed from somewhere other than Locklear's home. *TMZ* reports that upon arrival, the paramedics and other official responders found Locklear in fine condition, and left soon after the arrival. It is not yet known who placed the call or why.
