5/29/2004 in 52 percent of religious music lovers prefer Bush Dominick A. Miserandino Long Island, N.Y. - A person's music preferences can help point to which candidate they will choose in the upcoming presidential election, according to a new poll by TheCelebrityCafe.com, a popular online entertainment magazine. Among the most significant findings, 52 percent of religious fans surveyed said they would re-elect Republican George W. Bush as president in November, as did a majority of country music fans. Meanwhile, more fans of jazz, blue grass, pop/rock and techno fans said they will vote for the presumptive Democratic candidate, Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry over Bush. Overall, 37.28% of those surveyed preferred Kerry, compared to 32.31% for Bush. Independent candidate Ralph Nader was favored by 3.86% of polltakers, while 26.54% said they were undecided. The poll included 4,074 TheCelebrityCafe.com readers from May 11 to May 21. The readers are made up of a national audience, not particular to one locality.
