Anderson to be a mother for the third time.

Gillian Anderson, actress known for her work on the hit show, *The X-Files*, is expecting her third child, BBC News reports.  
  
The 39-year-old actress is expecting her third child in the fall, her manager confirms. She has one son, who is 18 months old, with boyfriend Mark Griffiths. Anderson's first child, a daughter, Piper, who is now a teenager, she had with first husband, Clyde Klotz.  
  
  
  
The second version of the Sci-Fi show to hit the big screen is due out on July 25. It reunites Anderson with costar David Duchovny and is titled *The X-Files: I Want to Believe*.  
  
  
  
Anderson recently appeared in the BBC's adaptation of *Bleak House*, a Charles Dickens novel. Next up is a more lighthearted prospect. She is set to appear in a comedy co-starring Kirsten Dunst, called *How to Lose Friends and Alienate People*.
