Knightley not shocked that her mother knows a thing or two about the birds and the bees.

Actress Keira Knightley was not shocked at all when she was asked to film a steamy sex scene, written by her mother, WENN reports.  
  
Knightley, who is appearing in the film, *The Edge of Love*, scripted by her mother, Sharman Macdonald, took a humorous tone about the whole matter.  
  
"She dared to put a sex scene in it. It didn't worry me that my mother knows what sex is," the star quips. "I had no hissy fits when she presented me with the scene."  
  
So when Macdonald, who also produces the film, presented a script which called for her daughter to act in the buff and have a steamy roll in the hay, Knightley was unfazed.  
  
She jokes: "I was found under an apple tree. My mother is a virgin."
