Britney Spears would rather act than sing.

Could it be that Britney Spears has more passion for acting than singing? Reportedly, her record label, Jive Records, has been having difficulty trying to get her singing in the studio.  
  
Although Spears's manager, Larry Rudolph, claimed that he and the record company were "very excited about what she's accomplished so far," is there any progress being made? According to a source from the *New York Post*, "Britney wants to focus on her TV and movie career right now." After receiving rave reviews for her cameo appearance in *How I Met Your Mother*, rumors have spread that the 26-year-old "Toxic" singer may be appearing in future episodes. According to Times of India, Contactmusic quoted a source as saying, "Britney wants to focus on her TV and movie career right now." After enjoying the success of her movie, *Crossroads*, and almost starring as Daisy Duke in *The Dukes of Hazzard*, who could blame her though?
