8/23/2008 in Lee's nearly 5-year-old son is named Pilot Inspektor. Katharine Westfall Jason Lee, star of the hit NBC show, *My Name Is Earl*, announced that his girlfriend, Ceren Alkac, gave birth to a little girl on August 10, E! News reported. This is their first child together. It isn't, however, Lee's first time as a dad. He has a 4-year-old son from a previous relationship - a son whose name might be weirder than Zuma Nesta Rock. On first hearing it, Pilot Inspektor sounds a lot more like a career than a toddler. According to E!, Pilot's name was inspired by a song from the 2000 album, *The Sophtware Slump* by Granddaddy. Lee told *Entertainment Weekly* in 2003 that his then-girlfriend, actress Beth Riesgraf, chose the name from the album's first track, "He's Simple, He's Dumb, He's the Pilot," which doesn't suggest she thought very highly of her infant son's intelligence. No information has been released about the naming of the actor's new daughter. According to *People*, the couple kept relatively mum throughout the pregnancy, announcing it only to that magazine, until Lee announced on the *Today* show that Alkac was expecting a girl. E! reported that Lee was seen waiting in line for what was suspected to be a marriage license, although neither he nor his girlfriend has suggested a wedding is in the future. Lee was married once before.
