DJ Samantha Ronson, who is a close friend of Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan, has recently been served with legal papers. In the middle of a DJ set, Ronson was served with court papers over a lawsuit she filed last year against the famous gossiper, Perez Hilton, on Lohan's behalf. For the lawsuit, Ronson hired the law firm of Davis & Gilbert to sue Hilton over comments he made about the two.  
  
Reportedly, the papers were comprised of a summons that demanded Ronson to provide details of her finances because she failed to settle a payment order from the unsuccessful lawsuit.  
  
When the papers were presented to Ronson, while she was playing at the Whiskey nightclub in Los Angeles, she was distraught and appalled by what the legal representative had handed her. "It was quite a scene, Samantha was freaking out," Contactmusic quoted a source present at the nightclub, as saying.  
  
The case will be brought to court later on this year in October.
