Actor will not join the cast for 4th installment.

Tom Cruise will not be part of the "Shrek" series. That is what his rep is telling E! News, in order to fight off rumors that have been floating around the Internet that he might be.  
  
"As of today, there is no truth to the Tom Cruise-'Shrek 4' rumor," said rep Jeff Raymond.  
  
Tom Cruise is currently working on a few projects including *The Monster of Florence*, a film about the decades of search for a serial killer in Italy, and has *Valkyrie*, a World War II thriller, coming out in December.  
  
As for *Shrek Goes Fourth*, the cast will include Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy and comes out in 2010.
