Showtime series to explore life of John Wilkes Booth.

Actor Kevin Bacon is preparing a series that would revolve around John Wilkes Booth, the man who assassinated president Abraham Lincoln.  
  
*The Booths*, to air on Showtime, would not only revolve around the assassin, but his brothers and the dysfunctional relationship between them.  
  
*Variety* is reporting that no writer is attached to the project, but Bacon will serve as executive producer.  
  
Booth assassinated Lincoln at Ford's Theatre during a production of *Our American Cousin* on April 14, 1864.
