10/26/2008 Melanie Sutrathada Franco loves his education, as much as his character in "Pineapple Express" loves marijuana. Actor James Franco, who starred in films like "Spiderman" and "Pineapple Express" has revealed that has education that his education is of the utmost importance to him. Not allowing his acting career to interfere with his education, Franco often went without sleep in order to attend classes while filming. While studying for an English Literature degree at UCLA, Franco also worked to film the forthcoming biopic "Milk" in San Francisco. "There were some days when we were doing night shoots when I would fly from San Francisco to LA in the morning, go to class, and then go from UCLA to the airport, fly back, and then work on Milk," the actor revealed. "That was a little crazy \[but\] somehow it worked." Showing his extreme dedication to learning, Franco graduated from the university in June and is now studying film and writing at New York University.
