11/20/2008 Amy Chandler Rihanna is the new face of Gucci's handbag line. Grammy winning pop singer Rihanna has been chosen as the face of Gucci for its new Tattoo Heart accessory collection TV ads, reported *USA Today*. Twenty-five percent of sales from the collection will be donated to UNICEF. "I wanted Rihanna on board with this project because she's so young, so modern, and so iconic," Gucci creative director Frida Giannini told JustJared.com. "She represents the prefect Gucci woman. She's so talented, she's so fresh, she's so beautiful." Giannini also told *USA Today* that the ad campaign focuses on "the beauty of Rihanna." Rihanna is reportedly very excited by the new collection. "I'm so proud when I see it because I would never have thought, in a million years, that I'd be a spokesperson for Gucci. It's such a massive brand," she exclaimed. She also stated, "I'm very very intrigued by what they're doing with UNICEF. As an artist, I feel like its our duty to make it a better place if we can."
