Joe Thomas Akon has pleaded guilty to a harassment charge on Wednesday after he was accused of tossing a fan off of the stage during a 2007 concert. According to the Associated Press, the musician must pay a $250 fine and perform 65 hours of community service. He will serve no jail time. Last year Akon entered a not guilty plea in a Fishkill, N.Y. courtroom after allegedly throwing a teenager off of the stage at a minor league baseball stadium near Poughkeepsie. A concertgoer sought damages after she suffered a concussion when the teenager fell on her.The entire ordeal was captured on camera and distributed on the Internet. Akon declined to comment on the matter.
