This was one fan that got way out of control. At a recent David Copperfield magic show in Las Vegas, one of Copperfield's assistants was severely injured after accidentally stepping too close to the gigantic stage prop on the evening of Wednesday, December 17.  
  
The assistant, whose last name is currently being withheld, first name Brandon, was apparently assisting Copperfield during the trick when he unknowingly stepped into just the right spot to be pulled close to a huge rotating fan, which Copperfield was using to perform an illusion.  
  
The assistant reportedly was so badly injured, that he needed immediate and extensive surgery, both cosmetic and trauma.
