30 Rock, "The Office" set to return, "Heroes" not yet picked up.

NBC has picked up its two flagship comedies, *30 Rock* and *The Office* for the 2009-10 TV season, *Entertainment Weekly* reports. The announcement came Thursday, as the network announced several new shows.  
  
"These renewals represent our faith in 'The Office' and '30 Rock' as they continue to represent the gold standard in acclaimed and award-winning series," NBC Primetime president Angela Bromstad told *Variety*.  
  
Reality programs *The Biggest Loser* and *Celebrity Apprentice* will also return next season.  
  
The network's new shows for next season include police drama *Southland*, which will take over *ER*'s time slot following the show's April 2 series finale, according to the AP. There will also be a reality cooking show called *The Chopping Block*, as well as Amy Poehler's as-yet-untitled comedy, to debut on April 9.  
  
NBC has yet to pick up *Heroes* for next season, but Bromstad told *Entertainment Weekly* that the network was committed to its much-maligned drama.  
  
"We want to get back to the core of the show," she said.
