3/16/2009 in After being cast as supporting roles in some of the funniest movies over the past couple years, actor Paul Rudd has finally caught a leading role. Shaina Wizov *I Love You, Man* stars Paul Rudd and Jason Segal as two men who develop a "bromance," although the two say they don't particularly like using that word, according to CNN.com. "It was not part of the lexicon while we were filming," Rudd told CNN. A "bromance" is a very close, non-sexual, friendship between two men. Rudd plays Peter Klaven, a man who is about to get married but is in need of a best man. To find a best man, Peter goes on a series of "man-dates" and forms a friendship with Sydney Fife (Segal). This new genre of film, focusing on the emotional male character, has picked up in the last couple years with films such as *The 40-Year-Old Virgin* and *Pineapple Express*. Both Rudd and Segal have experience in this genre, which was started by director and producer Judd Apatow. *I Love You, Man* hits theaters on Friday, March 20.
