5/15/2009 Despite the negative publicity, unique family pressures and difficulty being a normal teenager, Bristol Palin has successfully completed high school. Walking across the stage Thursday night in the Wasilla Sports Complex, Palin was glowing and excited as she gratefully accepted her diploma, reports nydailynews.com. Announcing her pregnancy in the midst of her mother's run for vice-presidency to Senator John McCain in the recent election, Palin, 19, became the highlight of media attention. Sarah Palin, current governor of Alaska, had doubts in regard to her daughter completing her education but now shares in her excitement and success. In fact, the only difference between Palin and her classmates was her mouthing "Where's my baby?" to her family sitting in the first two rows, according to people.com. Her eyes found her baby, Tripp, or as Palin likes to call him, "Handsome" and "My Guy," near the back with her Aunt Heather. "I knew it would be hard work, but I knew I was going to do it," she told one of *People* magazine's reporters. Proud of her 3.497 G.P.A., Palin plans to obtain a two-year degree from a local college. She would like to work in real estate.
