Two bidders were willing to give "Twilight" actor, Robert Pattinson, a wet one at his offer of $28,000.

Robert Pattinson chose to sell kisses for 20,000 euros, or $28,000, at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS 2009 Cocktail Party in Cannes, France.  
  
Harvey Weinstein, who introduced the *Twilight* actor, said, "When I first saw 'Twilight' with my daughters, I went home the next night and I saw \[written\] on their doors, 'Emma Pattinson, age 11,' 'Ruby Pattinson, age 6,' and 'Lily Pattinson, age 14.' All three of my daughters want to marry the guy on my right. I want him to star in a movie for me."  
  
Weinstein annunciated that Pattinson "has agreed to do something extraordinary. . . . I think there is no dad who wouldn't mind Robert Pattinson meeting his daughter, taking a picture with his daughter and just giving her a gentle kiss on the cheek. Somebody in London, New York or L.A. — there's got to be a dad good enough to bid on that."  
  
The bidding for Pattinson's love started off at five dollars, until it worked its way up to $10,000 and beyond. "If it goes well, maybe it'll turn into something more," he said. At last, two bidders were willing to pay as much as 28K for smooches with Pattinson.  
  
Other celebrities who attended the event were Josh Hartnett, Diane Kruger, Joshua Jackson and Danny Glover.
