6/18/2009 in Josh and Anna from "18 Kids and Counting" are expecting a daughter. Rebecca Hiatt The Duggar family just got a little bigger! Josh and Anna Duggar from TLC's "18 Kids and Counting" found out on the "Today" show on Monday morning that they are expecting a girl. The couple, who are due to become parents in October, both suspected a girl at first, and then switched their guesses to a boy. "I had a feeling the whole time it's going to be a girl and so now I'm for sure it's going to be a boy," Josh told Meredith Vieira on the "Today" show. Anna added, "I think it's a boy, but a girl would be great." Then the moment of truth—Josh cut the cake on the show that would reveal either a blue or pink inside. The cake was pink! "A little granddaughter, what a joy!" said Josh's mother, Michelle Duggar. As devout Christians, Josh and Anna believe all children are a gift from God, but they may not have as many children as Josh's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, who have 18 children. "We'd be happy with two or three; I think children are a blessing, though," Josh said. "So we're just thankful for the one that God has given us, and we'll take 'em one at a time." Josh and Anna were married in Florida in September of last year. Once the baby arrives, according to the "Today" show, TLC will release a new program called "The Duggars: Next Generation."
