8/1/2009 in The "Hero" star says "I do." Barbara Donlon According to Us Magazine, Ali Larter and Hayes MacArthur got married Saturday in an intimate ceremony. The wedding took place at the estate of MacArthur's parents in Kennebunkport, Maine. The ceremony took place on the lawn of the estate. Irish music was played in honor of MacArthur's heritage. Larter was walked down the aisle by her father. "Since I was 15 years old, all I wanted was to find the guy I was going to marry. My heart got broken so many times because I put so much pressure on it. And then ... I got blindsided," Larter said of MacArthur, back in February's Cosmopolitan. MacArthur, "showed me the way, and all was right. This is how it's supposed to be." The couple got engaged in December 2007, after being together for five years. This is the first marriage for both. When discussing her future back in 2007, she told Us Magazine, "I look forward to that time when I'm home with babies."
