9/10/2009 John Neal MTV's Video Music Awards will air on Sunday, but there's already plenty to talk about. The most-anticipated event will be the premiere of Michael Jackson's "This Is It" movie trailer. Jackson died June 25, days before he was to perform 50 concerts at the O2 arena in London. The film is a compilation of hundreds of hours of video shot during rehearsals. Kenny Ortega, who was the director of the O2 concerts, directed the film. According to [Rolling Stone](http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2009/09/10/michael-jacksons-this-is-it-trailer-to-premiere-during-vmas/), the film will have a limited two-week run in theaters and then become available on DVD by year's end. It will also feature a new song by Jackson. The next most-anticipated event will be to see what Lady Gaga wears to the awards show. Reality TV star Whitney Port told [MTV](http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1621088/20090909/lady_gaga.jhtml) she thinks the "Poker Face" singer will show up in something experimental. "Lady Gaga will probably wear, I'm sure, some sort of spandexy black thing, but I have no idea," she said. "I think she takes so many chances. I really commend her for that." Lady Gaga has been nominated for the VMA's best new artist, best female video, best pop video, and video of the year awards. The VMAs will air on Sept. 13 at 9 p.m. on MTV.
