Michael Jackson's label, Sony Music Entertainment, will release "This Is It" movie soundtrack.

The trailer for the highly anticipated documentary, Michael Jackson's "This Is It," featuring some of the last footage of the pop icon alive, premiered during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Fans can now also look forward to a soundtrack. MTV.com reports Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff approved a soundtrack deal giving permission to Michael Jackson's label, Sony Music Entertainment, to release a CD. Sony has yet to confirm any information regarding which songs might be included.  
  
Michael Jackson's "This Is It" is set to release on Oct. 28 for a limited time only. Fans will have two weeks to flock to theaters to watch Jackson's comeback concert rehearsals. The King of Pop died on June 25, 2009, less than three weeks before the scheduled kickoff concert. But, the movie director, Kenny Ortega, was able to cut together more than 100 hours of behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage for fans to enjoy.
