Natalie Gregory The producers of the Primetime Emmy Awards must be very pleased with themselves. 13 million people tuned in to this year's ceremony, the highest turnout in three years. Neil Patrick Harris, star of the sitcom "How I Met Your Mother," took his turn as host of the 61st annual awards. This was a welcome change from last year; the awards were hosted by various reality television hosts and saw the worst ratings in years. Harris received nods from Emmy winners Jon Stewart and "Survivor" host Jeff Probst as doing an excellent job mastering the ceremony. Harris (who was also nominated) may have been the only novel thing at the awards. The events' outcome was nearly identical to last year's. All except Toni Collette who won for best actress in a comedy, which left some people disappointed not to hear Tina Fey give one of her raucous acceptance speeches.
