9/30/2009 in Michael Vick signs a new deal with Nike. Amasico Rainer Nike and NFL quarterback Michael Vick are once again an item. According to the Associated Press, Vick signed a new contract with Nike. Terms for the deal were not announced. Nike and Vick parted ways after his highly profiled involvement in an illegal dog fighting association in Virginia two years ago. For his participation, Vick was suspended for two NFL seasons and served time in federal prison. Vick played in his first regular season game in nearly two years on Sunday. Going into September, his jersey was one of the NFL's top five selling jerseys. Nike officials say Vick has paid his due and now are once again back together. Vick signed with the Philadelphia Eagles during the preseason. Two months, 64 days to be exact, into his comeback he is seeing playing at numerous positions.
