12/9/2009 in The third film in the "Twilight" saga is going to be shot in IMAX. Allison Manchel Eclipse, which is the third film of the ["Twilight"](http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/movies/2009/12/09/2009-12-09_eclipse_third_film_in_twilight_series_is_first_to_be_shot_in_imax.html) saga, is the first film in the series to be shot for IMAX theaters. This will not affect its release date, and "Eclipse" will be released the same day in both regular theaters and IMAX theaters. Summit Entertainment's President of Domestic Theatrical Distribution, Richie Fay, says that "Twilight" fans "will have a whole new way to experience this next installment, with the enhanced image and sound quality of the IMAX Experience putting them in the movie." The three main stars of the films, [Kristen Stewart](http://www.people.com/people/kristen_stewart), [Taylor Lautner](http://www.people.com/people/taylor_lautner), and [Robert Pattinson](http://www.people.com/people/robert_pattinson), have all united to negotiate their contracts for the fourth film in the series, "Breaking Dawn." Because of the success of the first two movies, it is likely that they will be able to demand eight-figure paychecks. "Twilight" made $69 million it's opening weekend, and "New Moon" has grossed approximately $500 million worldwide. Both the IMAX version and regular version of "Eclipse" are scheduled to release nation wide June 30, 2010.
