Damien Patrick Holland, Chaka Khan's son, is being charged with the murder of a teenage boy.

The son of R&B singer Chaka Khan, Damien Patrick Holland, is charged with the shooting and subsequent death of teenager Christopher Baily. Holland was ordered to stand trial in the shooting death of the 17-year-old at a party last fall.  
  
Damien Patrick Holland (search), 26, is charged with fatally shooting 17-year-old Christopher Baily. The shooting occurred in September 2004 as the two struggled for a gun during a fight. Holland gave himself up to police in February.  
  
Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner On Monday, Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner, found sufficient evidence to allow the case to proceed, said district attorney's spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons.  
  
Holland was arrested after the shooting, but when prosecutors said they didn't have enough evidence to charge him, he was released. After investigators found witnesses at the shooting, prosecutors charged Holland.  
  
The scheduled arraignment is for September 26.
