With this cliched hack (no pun intended) of a horror flick, it's hard to tell who's the bigger victim in "When A Stranger Calls": the cheesy actors that deserve to be disemboweled for their stupidity, or the audience, for actually paying money to see this garbage.

With this cliched hack (no pun intended) of a horror flick, it's hard to tell who's the bigger victim in "When A Stranger Calls": the cheesy actors that deserve to be disemboweled for their stupidity, or the audience, for actually paying money to see this garbage. Camilla Belle, who plays the lead Jill Johnson, takes a babysitting job at a nice house, and is eventually terrorized by an unknown caller who continues to ask about the children. Eventually, Johnson's best friend is slashed up in typical horror movie fashion, as eventually Johnson has to fend off her attacker. In short, this horrible remake of this film is more fatal just watching it than it would ever be in real life.
