Doan Phuong Nguyen According to CNN.com, the "My Life on the D-List" star told Larry King that her marriage to her ex-husband who she divorced in May, Matthew Moline, crumbled apart after she found out he had stolen $72,000 from her. In the 'Larry King Live' interview, Griffin claims Moline, a software entrepreneur, took money from her bank accounts over an 18-month period. "My ex-husband, without my knowledge, was sneaking into my wallet when I was asleep in the mornings and taking my ATM cards of my own private accounts and withdrawing money," Griffin told King last week at the show taping. "That money totaled $72,000. And he was doing \[it\] systematically over about a year and a half," Griffin said. The comic said the couple had tried to work through their martial problems. According to the comedian, Moline had admitted and apologized and the couple even went to couple's therapy. "Unfortunately, we \[weren't\] able to get beyond the trust issue," Griffith said. According to a statement released to CNN, Moline was saddened by Griffin's statements on the show. "Since our divorce, I have not made any public comments about my ex-wife or our marriage. It saddens me that she would choose to make such accusations at this time. I have no intention of engaging in a public debate over private matters," Moline said. Griffin's show "My Life on the D-List" was recently nominated for an Emmy.The 'Larry King Live' interview aired Monday night.
