The Boss talks back to rumors of an affair with a Sept. 11 widow that have been reported as fact throughout the entire world.

Reports are now claiming Springsteen and his wife, Patti Scialfa, are not only happily married but also gracefully unmoved by the rumors surrounding their marriage. Judy Barnaby, a local saleslady familiar with the couple, says they shopped together in her store the day after the rumors hit the media. Barnaby claims, "Patti said everything was fine. She said her friends were more upset than she was."  
  
The concern of their friends along with the worldwide speculation led Springsteen to address the rumors on his Web site: "Patti and I have been together for 18 years - the best 18 years of my life. We have built a beautiful family we love and want to protect and our commitment to one another remains as strong as the day we were married."
