Eddie Murphy may not be the father of Mel B.'s baby.

Comedic actor, Eddie Murphy, is saying that he might not be the father of ex-girlfriend Melanie Brown's unborn child. While promoting his new film, *Dream Girls*, on the Dutch TV show *RTL Boulevard*, Murphy was asked by the reporter about his relationship with the 31-year-old, former Spice Girl and his impending fatherhood. His response was, "We're not together anymore. And I don't know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn't jump to conclusions, sir."  
  
Rumors were circulating that the 45-year-old *Beverly Hills Cop* actor and Scary Spice had gotten engaged since the news of the pregnancy came out, but the couple has recently called it quits. Murphy brought his new girlfriend, movie producer, Tracey Edmonds, to the New York premiere of *Dream Girls*. Edmonds, who is the ex-wife of music producer/singer, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, told *People* magazine at the premiere that her relationship with Murphy has been going on "for about a month and a half."
