1/9/2007 in Super director signs on for big-budget computer animated film. Dalip S. Sethi *Titanic* director, James Cameron, has announced his next project, and it is a titanic one. Cameron will return to the big-screen with *Avatar*, a science fiction flick filmed entirely in 3D with a budget just under $200 million. The computer animation that the director intends to use is groundbreaking technology, and, Cameron says, "will blow you to the back wall of the theater." Unlike *Titanic*, this film will be shot entirely on a stage within 31 days. This should help keep the budget controllable and delays at a minimum. Australian actor, Sam Worthington, leads the pack of a relatively unknown cast for *Avatar*, which should have a 2009 release date. Let's just hope we can build enough 3D theaters by then.
